BRAVO 24 Bit/96 kHz Digital Processor / USB to S/PDIF Converter. Imagine you now can give USB connectivity to your existing DAC or Amplifer with 24 Bit !) Firestone Audio just released the brand new BRAVO Digital Processor and USB to S/PDIF converter. This unit is designed to reduce Jitter in the data stream by re-clocking the data and put it forward in digital format via SPDIF optical or coaxial connection to your existing DAC. It will enhance the sound quality and will increase noticeable details in music. Very important feature is that the BRAVO is interfacing with USB to your PC and grab data in 24 bit format ! (24 bit from USB is a super-deal at this price level !)

For sure you can consider the BRAVO as the newest must-have device for the serious (computer) audiophile. It will create a cleaner sound with a better spatial placement of instruments in the recording for a price that makes you smile. Now you are able to squeeze the best possible sound quality out of your computer system, or increase the quality of an existing digital stream coming from your other devices.
You can combine the Bravo with a lot of Firestone Audio devices.
It teams up great with our Spitfire, Fubar 4, Fubar4-Plus and BigJoe3.
Of course the Firestone Audio engineering department did also focus to design a device that can be uses to upgrade various other audio set-ups. Put the BRAVO in between and get happy !
It is important to understand that you can use the BRAVO in 2 ways :
1) As a USB to S/PDIF Converter (24 bit) to any existing device with digital input.
2) As a 24 Bit/96kHz digital processor, reducing digital noise and distortion in you current set-up
|
How does it work ?
|
Very simple, see picture below for the connections.
You get 3 INPUT types : USB + SPDIF Digital and Coax
You get 2 OUTPUT types : SPDIF Optical + Coax
Just put the bravo in between your existing digital player and your existing DAC.
Or link the BRAVO with USB to your PC and link the output to your existing DAC.
Note you will not get an analog signal out of the Bravo !
