Fubar3 DAC/Headphone Amp, John D - Netherlands

Received the Fubar3 + Supplier a few weeks ago, (thanks for fast delivery), must say this is really a bargain when you hear the sound it delivers. I use it to listen to my FLAC files and WMA320 files via my PC with Media Monkey. Enclosed some pics from my set up : Compaq PC, Acer 24” monitor, and most important the Fubar III with Red Supplier (Nice looking couple :)) and my Philips SHP8900 head phone. The Fubar headphone amp a great driver for this head phone, I never heard it sing like this before. Great low bass and very clear middle and sparling high without distortion. I hear things in my music that were not present before. I have figured out that the best to set the PC volume to Max, then the software application (I use Media Monkey) also to Max. Then the Fubar III gets full volume and the only button I use for volume is the Fubar volume knob. With the EQ inside the software I can fine-tune the sound to my needs. I use the Fubar mostly with my headphone, but sometimes I take the Fubar III down to by big audiorig in the living room and use only the DAC section to connect it to my Yamaha audio rig. Now here I can also play my digital musci in Hifi quality. Again very nice performance !
